Resident Evil is a new chapter for Dead by Daylight. It includes a Killer — Nemesis— and two Survivors, Leon S. Kennedy and Jill Valentine.
The Nemesis
Designed by Umbrella Corporation, The Nemesis is a nearly unstoppable bio-organic weapon fixated on pursuing and eliminating its targets. Part of the Tyrant T-103 series, this specimen has increased intelligence and awareness due to the NE-α Parasite implanted within it. Its first mission unleashed it upon Racoon City, where it had a singular objective: exterminate S.T.A.R.S. members. Rampaging through the city, The Nemesis faced off against Jill Valentine multiple times, and though she managed to escape, he was never far behind. He nearly had his target, when a strange fog descended upon them, mixing with the smoke of a city in chaos. The phenomenon meant nothing to him—the frigid cold and decreased oxygen never posing a threat. All that mattered was soldiering on into the fog, continuing the mission: find S.T.A.R.S., exterminate S.T.A.R.S., and kill anyone who gets in the way.
Killer Power
A virus that causes extreme mutations and can be transferred to others. Heightens aggression and strength within The Nemesis.
Special Attack: Tentacle Strike
Press and hold the Power button to charge an attack. Once charged, tap the Attack button. Hitting a Survivor with Tentacle Strike afflicts them with the Contaminated status effect and increases your Mutation Rate. If a Survivor is already Contaminated, Tentacle Strike damages their health and increases Mutation Rate.
Vaccine found in Supply Cases cures Contamination. Their availability is limited. After using a Vaccine, the Survivor’s location is revealed by Killer Instinct.
Mutation Rate:
Your power expands as your Mutation Rate grows. At Mutation Rate 2, Tentacle Strike can destroy pallets and breakable walls. At Mutation Rate 3, Tentacle Strike’s range increases. The T-Virus icon displays the current Mutation Rate.
Special Enemy: Zombies
If a zombie hits a Survivor, they inflict them with the Contaminated effect. If already Contaminated, their health will be damaged.
Zombies can be destroyed by a Tentacle Strike to increase your Mutation Rate, and Survivors can destroy them with pallets. Destroyed zombies eventually respawn.
Killer Perks
At the start of each trial the aura of every Survivor will be revealed to you for a brief duration.
Whenever you put a Survivor into the injured state, all injured Survivors will suffer from the Oblivious status effect for a short time. Activating Hysteria incurs a cooldown.
After damaging a generator its aura will be highlighted in yellow. Put any Survivor into the Dying State and all affected generators will explode, regressing their progress, and afflicting the Incapacitated status effect on anyone repairing them.
Leon S. Kennedy
Having faced hordes of zombies on his first day as a police officer, Leon S. Kennedy had to learn the job quickly. Investigating the biohazard that had ravaged Racoon City, Leon infiltrated an abandoned Umbrella Corporation laboratory where a sudden and unexpected black fog led him astray.
Survivor Perks
Mask all noise including grunts of pain when healing. Failing a healing skill-check will not trigger a noise notification and the amount by which healing is regressed will be reduced.
After completing a percentage of overall generator repair, enter a locker while empty-handed and press the Ability button to create a Flashbang Grenade used to blind or distract the Killer.
Complete a certain number of good or great skills checks while repairing generators to activate Rookie Spirit and reveal the auras of all regressing generators on the map.
Jill Valentine
Excelling at lock picking and bomb disposal, Jill Valentine was a brilliant Special Tactics and Rescue Service (S.T.A.R.S.) agent. After bravely rescuing her team members from a devastating biohazard, she returned to Racoon City to save any survivors left behind. But a lethal and ruthless super soldier labelled Nemesis was on her trail. After dealing The Nemesis a few blows, Jill rushed to the basement and picked the lock of a cold room. Once inside, her body turned numb as a black fog engulfed her.
Survivor Perks
Cleanse totems faster. After cleansing a totem, the aura of the furthest totem from you will be revealed for a short time and you gain an additional speed bonus on cleansing for the remainder of the trial.
Instantly gain a sizable percentage of healing progress after being unhooked or unhooking yourself.
After completing a percentage of overall generator repair, Blast Mine activates. Use the Ability button to install traps on generators, revealing their auras to all Survivors, and creating an explosion that stuns Killers if they are damaged.
New Map
Raccoon City Police Station
The smell of blood and festering limbs permeated the concrete walls of the Raccoon City police station. Once an art museum, the building was converted into a precinct at the heart of the city. But when evil took residence, the station showed one last terrifying exhibition: corpses crowding narrow corridors, blood smeared on shattered windows, and festering flesh dripping down the stairs.

Along with the rest of the Alpha Team, he was tasked to investigate the loss of contact with the Bravo Team deployed to Raccoon City. His proficiency with a wide range of firearms distinguished him as a versatile and gifted sharpshooter.
Chris Redfield is available as a Legendary Set* for Leon S. Kennedy.

Claire Redfield
After weeks of not hearing from her big brother, she left college to seek him out. Stopping for gas on the outskirts of Raccoon City, she stumbled upon a devastating biohazard. Caught unexpectedly in this biohazard, she used the skills her brother taught her to survive.
